Hualan Biological Bacterin Inc., a holding subsidiary of the Hualan Biological Engineering Inc., is engaged in the R&D, production and sale of vaccines. In 2009, it only took 87 days to develop the world’s first H1N1 Vaccine, and undertook nearly 40 % of the national storage task. It is the first influenza vaccine manufacturer in China, and the fifth in the world that passes the Pre-Qualification of World Health Organization. H7N9 and Quadrivalent Influenza Vaccine developed and applied by Hualan firstly in China are listed as key development projects by Ministry of Science and Technology. At present, there are six kinds of vaccines on the market, including Influenza Vaccine (Split Virion), Inactivated (Adult), Group ACYW135 Meningococcal Polysaccharide Vaccine, Recombinant Hepatitis B Vaccine, Influenza Vaccine (Split Virion), Inactivated (Children), Influenza Vaccine (Split, Virion), Inactivated, Quadrivalent (Adult), Group A and Group C Meningococcal Polysaccharide Vaccine.
